14 November 2019. More and more people are combining their passion for travel with their favourite sport. If this is you and you’re a fan of cycling, make sure to pick a cycling friendly hotel when you go on holiday, such as Fuerte El Rompido (Huelva). Aside from its privileged location, close to stunning cycling routes like those connecting to Laguna del Portil, Marismas del Río Piedras, Pinares de Cartaya, Flecha del Rompido, Isla Cristina and the city of Huelva, the hotel has just opened a new 24-hour bike centre which its guests can use free of charge.

Measuring 90 m2 and located in an enclosed area with surveillance, it includes a changing room, washing area with hoses, air pumps and places to refill water bottles, a secure 12-space bike rack, some of which have plugs for electric bikes (low availability) and a sophisticated 72 piece toolbox for repairing any faults.

On top of this, the hotel offers a bike rental service for professionals and amateurs and has a welcoming spa with products from the renowned Skeyndor brand, including a hydrotherapy circuit where you can unwind when you get back to the hotel and enjoy an unforgettable deep-tissue massage to rejuvenate the muscles in your legs, back, or even whole body if you wish.
